Georgia Rose is a beautiful example of a lovingly refitted Swanson 36.
Designed and built in solid fibreglass in 1980 by the highly respected Australian boat builders/designers, Swanson Brothers, for blue water passage making and completely refitted recently by another very skilled boat builder, her present owner, the interior is stunning.
Once aboard you will notice her lift up tiller provides ample cockpit space shaded by a canvas bimini and the lazarette aft is surprisingly a huge storage space.
Stepping through Georgia Rose's companionway down into the saloon you will appreciate the full interior professional re-fit with over $55k spent and a lot of skilled man hours. The U shaped galley to starboard has stone look moulded shimmer coated fibreglass bench-tops as used in modern luxury cruisers. There are twin electric cooktops and an electric mini oven powered by a near new Honda 2 kva petrol gen set, and there is additional bench space opposite to port containing a front opening 12v fridge.
Forward of the galley to starboard the saloon table drops to convert to a double with a linear settee opposite to port.
