First impressions when you step aboard is a feeling of space in the large well designed cockpit. Space to move around, space to lay down on the more than full length seats, forward vision through the dodger clears is excellent from the well equipped steering station, and an electric winch raises and reefs the in-boom full batten main as well as a host of other functions. Entering the cabin, the feeling of spaciousness continues enhanced by the views from generous wrap around saloon windows. The superb U-shaped galley is immediately to stbd of the companionway. It has a double sink, front opening fridge, top opening freezer, gimballed gas stove/ oven, tons of storage drawers and cupboards. There is a dual access bathroom opposite the galley with doors to the aft double bed cabin and saloon. There is a space to starboard, accessible from the aft cabin the houses the washing
machine/dryer, water maker and general storage (The Shed). The nav station is to port just forward of the bathroom and there are two newly upholstered recliner chairs (just like home) opposite the ushaped settee. The Innovative raised saloon offers panoramic ocean views from the privacy of the
saloon dining table. Moving forward there is a spacious well ventilated semi island bed stateroom forward with en-suite and heaps of headroom. The hull form of the 440 is conservative and sea kindly and designed not to pound when going to weather or powering into seas. Offering the stability of a very low centre of gravity with her winged keel, the 440 hull is stiff and comfortable.
Water Music has completed a very successful 12 month ocean cruise in 2019/2020 along the Australian east coast and to New Zealand and has just had a significant cosmetic refit so she is now ready for her next adventure!
