"""MAKE A REALISTIC OFFER""""" OWNER SAYS SELL "" Dynamic sailing performance at its finest X-Yachts X-482 "Xirene"
Too often emphasis is given to the comfort of a yacht only at anchor and not enough to comfort whilst underway. Many of the design decisions made by X-Yachts of Denmark are to help ensure their yachts not just perform exceptionally well in all conditions but are also comfortable and a pleasure to sail.
The X-Yachts 482 is one of the most successful models of the Danish yacht builder whose core values are quality in design, construction and equipment.
From attentive hull design to ergonomic features throughout the cockpit and interior layout X-Yachts deliver superb Performance and Comfort at sea and at anchor.
Her hull and deck layup is in Fiberglass with foam sandwich and a unique galvanized steel frame provides structural support for her rig and keel loads. The deck is well designed with a raised coaming around the companionway, which stores the folded sprayhood and breaks up the long cabin trunk. All halyards are led aft under the coach roof to the powerful Harken winches. The cockpit features a massive steering wheel with well, and mainsheet and traveller right at the helmsmans side. The primary Harken 62.5 winches are electric, making light work of trimming the double headsails.

Xirene's warm and welcoming interior has the comfortable three-cabin layout, with the very large, en-suited, owners cabin up forward. The saloon features a large oval table with plenty of all-around seating. Along the port side of the saloon is her impressive galley, with spacious worktop and locker space. The well-sized chart table can double as a work/office desk in port.
With a 3 Cabin Layout, Large master and ensuite forward and with 2 double cabins (plus single in each) aft she can sleep 8 people,
The ultimate long distance Blue Water Cruiser. Now conveniently located in our hardstand sales area here at The Boat Works for your viewing convenience...

X- yachts are a cruiser/racer and regarded as a high quality brand being superbly built in Denmark and are in the same league as Swan Yachts so just don't compare with the plethora of mass produced lesser quality yachts. With her large electric primary winches and heavy duty autopilot, and bow thruster this ocean greyhound is very manageable at sea and docking in marinas. Xirene will put a smile on your dial as she sails past most other cruising yachts, some much bigger than her.
Australian Customs duty and gst has been paid and even though she is in need of an equipment upgrade( we have recent quotes for this) we highly recommend inspecting 'Xirene' as her realistic overseas owner is open to realistic offers.
