Van De Stadt Samoa 48 - REALISTIC VENDOR REDUCES PRICE! World Cruising yacht, designed around four fundamental parameters, SPEED, COMFORT, SAFETY & QUALITY, this thoroughbred performance cruiser was built to the highest standards using a combination of space age materials (epoxy, duflex, quadaxial cloth) for the hull and decks and traditional craftsman quality european beech timber finishes below decks as you would expect from these high quality yachts.
New Raymarine Nav System fitted July 2015 with wifi connect to i- pad and I- phone from anywhere.
The owner's stateroom with ensuite is forward and there are two guest cabins aft with a shared bathroom. The saloon is incredibly spacious as is the well equipped galley.
The solid dodger over the main hatch enables the hatch to be open in all weather conditions and it's impossible to miss that large spoked steering wheel aft, which, once you wrap your fingers around you really feel "in charge" of a powerful sailing machine.

The 'Samoa' is a moderate displacement, sea-kindly and well-proven design, easily able to cross oceans in comfort and at speed. 'Stoli' is built to Qld Dept of Transport 2C survey standards, with hull samples readily outperforming Qld University of Technology strength tests during build. 'Stoli' was never put into charter. In 10 years cruising 20,000nm on the Qld coast, 'Stoli' quickly reaches hull speed in light to moderate breezes. Under MPS 'Stoli' sails at near-wind speeds, and revels in 25-knot plus winds when she will reel off 9 knot-plus average speeds, making 200-nautical mile days readily achievable. Yet 'Stoli' is easily handled by two people, the electric sheet winch making sail handling effortless. The hard dodger is a boon to all-weather comfort. She has been meticulously maintained and presents in superb condition having just had her hull and decks professionally painted with two pack marine paint. 'Stoli' is for the buyer seeking a high quality performance sailing yacht, we know "Stoli" well as we sold her to this owner ten years ago.
