This Kanter 62 launched in 2002 for a Texas couple to cruise from Bermuda to Azores 2800miles, (she has a total range of 4500 miles) in safety and comfort in high strength marine grade aluminium. Present Australian owner's bought her five years ago and have cruised the Med extensively in this very comfortable "Home away from Home".. Croatia, Italy, Spain, France to name a few exotic cruising grounds. She was shipped to Australia and has cruised the east coast from Melbourne to the Whitsundays and back.

Her configuration features the popular raised pilothouse forward behind the portuguese bridge. Aft of this is the spacious main saloon and well equipped galley, then out back to a good sized cockpit. The walk around decks with high bulwarks give excellent safe passage around the outside of this fine Motor Yacht. There is no wood trim outside to keep maintenance to a minimum.

Efficient performance is insured by the round bilge bottom, transitioning to a chine aft, with a single spray rail and a relatively high prismatic coefficient of 0.67.( means an efficient hull shape for low fuel consumption) A full length keel ( 5'10"draft) protects propeller and rudder against accidental grounding and also dampens rolling in a rough sea. She is also stabilised.

There is a large owner's stateroom with ensuite and a second guest cabin with an ensuite.
